High Point Market Here I come!!!!

I'm so excited to be attending my first HPMKT (High Point Market ) event April 20-25.I've started packing and I've been shopping for weeks now. What was that? You don't know what HPMKT is? Well after some research this is what I found out. High Point Market which is located in High Point NC by the way was Founded in 1909.It was originally known as the Southern Furniture Market which became  significant in the  furnishings industry in 1921 with the completion of the Southern Furniture Exposition Building. From  1940s through the 1980s it grew so big till it became, the furniture capital of the world. HPMKT is a week-long furnishings exhibition that highlights the world’s most comprehensive product selection and new product showcase. High Point Market is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world, bringing more than 85,000 people to High Point every six months. According to About.com It is open to the trade only. Manufacturers, furniture and interior designers, along with furniture retailers, dealers and professionals attend to show, network, look at and buy the latest home furnishings products.
