The holidays are upon us and it's time to decorate. What's your holiday style? No matter what it is the wonderful thing is you can create beautiful spaces. There's really no rules, right or wrong way,it's based on your personal taste. Here are some examples I hope you enjoy.
All the mood boards I created were done on a free site called Olioboard .It allows you to create 2D and 3D designs. It's a great tool for professionals, students (like myself)DIYer's or just for fun. Olioboard, Olioboard FB
FUN FACT:1538 saw the first Mexican Christmas celebration. They decorated using flowers, pinatas, balloons, straw ornaments, religious banners, candles and a nativity scene.
Another type of holiday style would be to decorate with natural elements. It's fresh, simple and easy on the budget.
Last but not least I would like to remember our troops and their families during this season.I know all too well as a former military dependent what it's like to be without a loved one at Christmas.I would like to extend my best wishes and prayers to my friend Suezette and her family! She has sent her husband a mini tree with the decorations for him to put up and wrapped all his supplies toothpaste, chocolates, food etc up so he has something to unwrap on Christmas!
