All About Design : SWOON Worthy

Hi everyone! As I mentioned in my last blog when I went to HPMKT in the spring I did more of the educational side but I did get to squeeze some swoon in. +CRLaine was hot as always, I just love their showroom. They also throw awesome parties! You always run into the best people there as well. I stopped in at many showrooms such as Global Views, THIBAUT, Cyan, Glassisimo, John Strauss, Codarus, Worlds Away and soooo....... many more. What I did notice was a lot of metallic finishes, brass, bold patterns, rich bright colors, corals, aqua's, shades of yellow, grey , and jewel tones. I also saw a lot of well as described by a friend "Chinoiserie" if that's a word lol I loved the Asian inspired decor,pillows and fabrics I saw. I also noticed fabric on buffets,desk and other pieces you would not expect to find it on. It was all breath taking and I only wish I could of taken in more showrooms.
